LEXI Nude is my answer to a true halterneck dress — one that fastens around the back of your neck and leaves your back open.
I designed its proportions around Grace Loves Lace's Goldie dress, so this isn't a generic halter shape.
The adjustable neck strap lets you fine-tune the fit, while my patented construction supports your bust without a bra back band. The underwired, non-padded minimiser cups give you natural shape without added volume, and my no-side-seam construction smooths your tummy and hips beneath clingy fabric. The tanga briefs have laser-cut edges for a smooth leg line with minimal visible panty lines. Handmade to order in London.

How the LEXI construction works — 01
For this halterneck style, I integrated LEXI's cups into the body of the garment, doing away with the need for a back band. This construction provides lift, support and definition for your bust without adding volume, bulk or flattening your bust. The sides are cut away from the armpits so the bodysuit stays hidden under low underarm cut dresses without creating unwanted side boob.
The built-in structure keeps the underwires securely positioned underneath your bust, so they stay in place as you move while the high apex cup shape helps smooth out side skin that often shows up next to armpits.
How the LEXI construction works — 02
I designed the plunge shape of the cup to make your bust appear smaller and closer to your chest, without overexposing your cleavage. The slit in the middle helps prevent a 'mono-boob' look. I use a double layer of the same power mesh as the rest of the bodysuit to ensure the colour matches evenly across the entire body and fold the front cup edge - instead of elasticating it - which helps keep the neckline smooth and invisible under dresses with a high, triangular front.
The single neck strap is secured at the top of the cups with gold-plated G-hooks, and is adjustable via a slider, allowing you to change the length for comfort from 16 cm/ 6.5" to 29 cm/ 11".

LEXI's completely open back falls below the natural waist line to create a classic U-scoop shape, smoothing around your waist on the side and preventing 'muffin top'. For the briefs, I opted for a high-leg tanga cut with laser-cut edges to minimise visible panty lines.
I describe the briefs as closer to a Brazilian style than a G-string so there's no discomfort of a thong riding up. I also added a hook-and-eye closure in the gusset so you can use the bathroom without taking the whole bodysuit off.

Your dress is a true halterneck:
LEXI has a single neck strap that extends from the top of the right cup, around the back of your neck, to the left cup. I made the strap length adjustable from 29cm/ 11" to 16cm /6.5" so you can shorten or lengthen it for a more comfortable fit.
You want underwired support without a back band:
My patented construction keeps your bust fully supported without a back band, leaving your whole back completely exposed.
You've struggled to find backless halterneck support for a fuller bust:
LEXI’s sizing extends to an FF cup at 32 and 34 band, and I've personally fitted busts up to a UK G-cup equivalent (US size 32 i) using my sister sizing methodology.
You have the Grace Loves Lace Goldie dress:
I created the LEXI after being inspired by Grace Loves Lace's Goldie dress, and I've since confirmed it against dozens of other halterneck gowns, including Made With Love's Grayson and Danielle Frankel's Sasha and Samson.
You prefer a soft, natural cup shape without added volume:
My non-padded, underwired minimiser cup sits close to your chest and gives you natural support without adding any volume.
You're worried about excess breast tissue showing next to your armpits:
I make the high-apex cup from a double layer of power mesh. The cup shape allows you to scoop in all your side tissue, keeping your bust tucked in and smoothed at the sides.
You want a versatile bodysuit style:
LEXI is not exclusively for bridal. This halterneck style also works with dresses or tops that have exposed shoulders (e.g. racer-front styles) where standard straps would show and is available in a black colour-way for evening, gala or special occasion wear.
You want your tummy smoothed, belly button covered and no VPL:
LEXI’s smooth front covers your belly button while my no-side-seam construction evens out lumps and bumps that may show under bias-cut, silk or slinky fabrics. I've also given the tanga briefs laser-cut edges that minimise visible panty lines.

Choose another style if...
Your dress's fabric is extremely slinky with no lining or clingy over the bust:
My LEXI cup has a very fine dart seam running from the base upward; it doesn't show under most fabrics, but may be slightly visible under extremely slinky, unlined satin or silk fabrics. If this happens, a simple solution is to have your seamstress add some lining over the bust to hide the seam.
Your dress has a square, round or very wide neckline.
FRANKIE would be my choice here as their cup styles suit these necklines. Alternatively, see SIA or MAE as their cup styles are similar.
Your dress has a high, close-set neckline with standard shoulder coverage:
Here, JONI or INCA styles would be my recommendation. They both have cup styles that suit larger bust sizes specifically, and work well under high necklines. For a smaller bust, I'd suggest FRANKIE or SIA as their moulded cups add more structure.
Your dress has two separate shoulder straps with low underarm cut-outs, not a true halter:
I built SKYE specifically for that: the same underwired non-padded minimiser cup and patented construction, worn with two straps set low under each arm instead of one strap at the neck.

Are the LEXI cups padded?
No. LEXI is non-padded by design. In one specific case, the smallest LEXI size (32B) was slightly loose in the cup, and I suggested adding foam cups inside to fill the extra space — a fit workaround for that scenario, not a general way to turn LEXI into a padded or volume-enhancing style. If added volume is what you're after, a different cup construction is the better starting point.
Can a halterneck style support a larger/heavier bust?
Yes. I designed LEXI to provide structure for your bust in the same way a regular underwired bra does, but without the need for a traditional bra back band, so the support is provided by the entire bodysuit, not just the neck strap. For this reason, it's important that the bodysuit fits your body correctly in length, waist and hips. I have personally fitted customers with bra sizes as large as 32G successfully in LEXI using my sister sizing methodology and would not offer a size if I didn't believe the design could support you in it.
Will the bodysuit show through my halter dress?
The LEXI works with most halterneck dresses and tops. However, if you are unsure, I suggest you send me a picture of your outfit so I can check whether the bodysuit will work with the particular cut of your dress. I'll always provide honest feedback. If needed, I will suggest small adjustments, such as adding a converter strap to make the LEXI work better with your neckline, asking your seamstress to add some lining over the bust to hide the fine dart seam on the cup, or redirect you to an alternate style.
Can I convert your other backless bodysuit styles to a halterneck?
No. Each of my bodysuit styles has a different structure and balance, designed around the specific functionality of that style. Simply changing the straps would not provide the same support. For a true halterneck solution, LEXI is the only style I recommend.
Will the halter strap put pressure on my neck?
It shouldn't, as long as the bodysuit fits you correctly and you do not over-tighten the neck strap. I provide a video fitting guide online and as written instructions. I also email my guide to customers for additional convenience.
Can I change the halter strap so it blends in with my dress?
Yes. The LEXI's halter neck strap is detachable and can be substituted with an alternate strap. For one customer, I made a slim spaghetti strap in the same colour as her dress, which she could switch with the original halter strap. Another alternative is to use one of our clear bra straps as a single halter strap.
My dress has a crossover or twisted neckline. Can I cross the halter strap?
I would not recommend this. Crossing the halter strap at the front may not be comfortable. Instead, I would suggest adding a short converter strap to the front of the bodysuit to bring the neckline closer together.
Is LEXI available for a 38 back?
Can I return it if the size or fit isn't right?
Yes. LEXI is returnable within 30 days of delivery. If the issue is fit rather than a change of mind, send me your measurements or a fitting photo first — I regularly work through sizing and positioning with customers before deciding whether an exchange, a different style, or a return is the right answer.
