Description
JONI Nude is my most versatile style — the one I reach for on both high and plunge necklines, especially for larger busts. The cup is both low at the centre front, so it follows a V-neck or plunge, and high at the apex and sides, so it holds a high or boat neckline with no gap.
It's an underwired minimiser cup — no foam, no padding, no moulding — so it lifts and supports without adding volume to your bust and without needing a bra back band (my patented construction) I finish the cup edges without elastic, so it won't leave a line on your bust. The brief has a seamless tanga cut with laser-cut edges that won't roll or wrinkle as you move. I even include a hook-and-eye closure in the gusset for bathroom convenience. How the JONI construction works — 01
With JONI, I opted for a soft, non-padded, underwired minimiser cup that lifts and supports your bust without adding volume or squashing your breasts into a monoboob shape. I cut the high-apex cups in a triangle shape that lifts your breast tissue from the bottom, through the centre upwards for a more even shape without spilling out at the sides. I also finish the inner cup edges with a fold rather than elastic to prevent it creating a visible line on your breast or double-boob. This makes JONI well suited for those with fuller or uneven busts that are emptier at the top or heavier at the bottom, as it's the most supportive style I make.

JONI's plunge neckline relies on the same non-padded, underwired cup structure as INCA — a double layer of powernet that holds your natural shape rather than pads it out with foam. I make the cup with a fine dart seam running from the base to just below the nipple and a folded, elastic-free edge that avoids a double-boob line.
Worn in your correct size, the wire and cup shape centre your bust — as I put it to one bride comparing styles: "JONI offers more lift than others, with no spilling out." The result is subtle cleavage without padding — lifted, not squashed into a monoboob.

JONI's low, open back extends in an ultra-low U-shape that sits in line with your hip bone. To make the bodysuit as seamless as possible, I joined the entire bodysuit with a single short seam at the centre back. There are no bulky side seams or elasticated edges that may show under your dress.
For the briefs, I opted for a high-leg tanga cut with laser-cut edges to minimise visible panty lines. I describe the briefs as closer to a Brazilian style than a G-string so there's no discomfort of a thong riding up. I also added a hook-and-eye closure in the gusset so you can use the bathroom without taking the whole bodysuit off.
Choose JONI if...
Your dress has a high, boat, V-neck or plunge front
I recommend JONI most often for high and boat necklines, but its high-apex plunge shape also works with V-neck and plunge fronts. The centre stays low while the cup rises higher at the top and sides, giving more coverage than my deeper LIV style. For larger busts, JONI is also the most supportive minimiser style I make.
You want support and cleavage without padding
JONI has an underwired, non-padded minimiser cup with a high apex-triangle shape that gives your breasts coverage and support at the top and sides while keeping its natural shape and size. No added volume and no squashing your breasts into a "monoboob".
You want a soft cup edge to prevent "double boob"
I make the cups from a double layer of power mesh and fold the fabric at the edge rather than finishing it with elastic. That soft edge moulds against the skin and avoids the elastic ridge that can create a visible line or "double boob" effect. The high-apex cup also gives more coverage at the top and sides while keeping the centre front low.
You want a smooth torso, your belly button covered and no VPL
JONI's smooth front covers your belly button and evens out any lumps and bumps on the sides that may show under bias-cut, silk or slinky fabrics. I've also given JONI's tanga briefs laser-cut edges to minimise visible panty lines when worn under unforgiving mermaid and bias-cut dresses.
Your breasts are emptier at the top and heavier at the bottom
JONI will lift from the bottom and even up at the top without adding any volume while creating a lifted, natural line. Customers often reach towards padded styles in the hope of addressing this but, in my experience, choosing the most appropriate cup shape for your bust size is a better option than padding.
You're worried about tape or stick-on bras letting you down on the day
Customers often come to me after trying tape or stick-on cups without success. JONI's underwired support has proved to be the answer on more than one occasion.
You have the Georgia by Made With Love or the Rome, Foster or Verlaine by Laure de Sagazan
I've personally advised customers wearing dresses by Made With Love, Jane Bourvis, Emilia Wickstead, Rembo Styling, Laure de Sagazan, Caroline Takvorian, Bo & Luca, Lola Varma, About Phaedra and many more. If your dress has a standard depth plunge front, is backless and you prefer underwired bust support, JONI is one of the first styles I'd recomend.
You've already tried a moulded cup, like MAE, and found the cup pleats show under a thin or high neckline
MAE's moulded cups are pleated with the same power mesh as the rest of the bodysuit. Under unlined or slinky dresses, these pleats can show. JONI gives you a soft, pleat-free cup instead.

Choose another style if...
Your dress front is lower than a standard plunge:
JONI's neckline is a plunge rather than a deep or ultra plunge. If your dress needs to go lower than JONI's centre V, I'd recommend either LIV, or KYA if you prefer full-brief coverage at the same depth.
Your dress is unlined, slinky, plain and fitted tight across the bust.
JONI cup has a fine dart seam running from the base of the cup to just below the nipple. On a dress like that, the seam may show. In this case I'll usually move you to FRANKIE, because its cup is fully seamless and gives a smoother surface under unforgiving fabric.
You're above a 2XL body size, or above the largest sizes I make
The largest cup size I make is 34FF; on a 38 band, the range goes up to E. This is a genuine limit of the bodysuit's construction and unfortunately not something I'd be confident extending.
You'd prefer a full brief to a tanga:
Here INCA is the obvious choice. The cup construction is identical to JONI with the only difference being the brief. JONI has a tanga brief with a high leg cut that hides VPL; INCA has a full brief which provides slightly more shaping around the tummy.
You want more volume in the bust:
I don't put padding pockets in the JONI cup, and I don't recommend adding inserts to a minimiser cup either. If volume is what you're after, MAE or occasionally UMA may be better options, but this depends on your dress cut and fabric.
Your dress has a low, cut-away underarm
JONI's strap attaches at a standard underarm height. SKYE is the style I've made for low side cut-outs, as its strap attaches lower on the bodysuit.

I tried a SKIMS bodysuit and it was a disaster as you could see it through the dress. Will the JONI bodysuit show?
No, although it really depends on your dress. I make my bodysuits without any bulky elasticated edges around the cup edges or side seams. I also laser cut the brief edges so they sit softly against the body without digging in, rolling, or wrinkling. JONI does have a very fine dart seam running from the base of the cup to just below the nipple, but for most dresses this isn't an issue. The only time I may suggest you try another style is if your dress is a) unlined, b) slinky and plain, and c) tight across the bust at the same time. If your dress is only one of those things, JONI is usually fine. If all three apply, I'd suggest the FRANKIE, whose cup is fully seamless.
Will JONI support a fuller, uneven, or bottom-heavy bust?
Yes — this is one of the concerns I hear most often from customers. JONI's cup is stretchy rather than moulded to one fixed shape, so it adjusts to asymmetry, and to a bust that's fuller at the bottom or emptier at the top, instead of gaping on one side. JONI also pulls the breast upward, which suits a bust that's slightly emptier on top. No padding needed.
Will the JONI work under a high-neck or boat-neck dress?
Yes. High necklines are what I recommend the JONI for most often: the high apex sits close to the neckline with no gap. If you have a fuller bust, JONI is the best style for a high neckline because it is a minimiser. The one thing to watch is a low, sheer or embroidered upper neckline, where the top of the cup can show — send me a picture of your dress and I'll advise you.
Will the JONI be low enough at the back for my dress?
Yes. The JONI has an ultra-low back, and when it's worn correctly the back sits below your waist, in line with your hip bone — push the back down rather than pulling it up when you put it on. See my sizing and fit video for guidance.
My dress front is lower than a standard plunge. Is the JONI still deep enough?
What's the difference between the JONI and the MAE?
The cup is the main difference. JONI has a soft, non-padded, high-apex minimiser cup made from a double layer of powernet, so it adds no volume and supports larger busts well. MAE has a moulded demi-plunge cup that holds its shape and gives more definition. That's why I recommend the JONI for high, boat, V-neck and plunge necklines, and the MAE for square or round necklines where you want that structure. The one thing I would watch for with MAE if you have a thin or fitted dress: the moulded cup can show its pleats through the fabric, and under a high neckline it makes the bust look larger. In this case, JONI is the switch I make most often.
JONI or INCA. What's the difference?
Nothing in the cup — they have the same construction. The only difference is that JONI has tanga briefs and INCA has a full brief.
Will JONI's minimiser cup make my bust look bigger, or smaller?
Neither. Minimiser describes what happens to bust projection, not size. JONI's cup reduces how far the bust sits forward while keeping its natural volume in a more balanced, lifted position. It won't shrink or squash your breasts, and since there's no padding, it won't add extra volume either.
Can I return it if the size or fit isn't right?
Yes. JONI is returnable within 30 days of delivery.
