LIV Nude Backless Bodysuit with a Flat V-Separator and Tanga Briefs
Ask for a RUSH ORDER (T&C's apply)

Description
LIV Nude is my lowest-fronted backless bodysuit with tanga briefs. It’s the style I most often recommend when your dress has a very low, deep-V plunge and is closely fitted around your bottom, where the high-leg tanga cut helps minimise visible panty lines.
To achieve the deep plunge, I use a V-separator that sits flat against your breastbone, allowing a very low front without sacrificing bust support. LIV’s underwired, non-padded cups are made from the same Nude power mesh as the body, so there's no colour difference across the garment that could show under sheer or light fabric. The body smooths over everything — including the belly button — for a seamless-looking finish beneath a slinky dress.
LIV's high-leg tanga briefs have laser-cut edges for a smooth finish under close-fitting fabrics. A hook-and-eye closure at the gusset makes bathroom visits easier without removing the bodysuit. LIV is also available in Black for evening and occasion wear.
Handmade, to order in my London studio.

How my LIV construction works for you — 01
With LIV, you get a very low neckline that lifts and supports your bust, without padding. Using my tailoring background, I built the centre front around a flat V-separator that holds the deep-V in position. It's long enough to keep the neckline ultra-low without poking you in the tummy when you sit down.
The underwired cups scoop your bust towards the centre, and their double fabric layer adds lift and nipple coverage. I fold the cup edge instead of elasticating it, so it moulds smoothly to your bust rather than cutting in and creating a visible ridge or “double boob”. Gold-plated G-hooks fasten the straps securely, so they don't accidentally unclip.
How my LIV construction works for you — 02
LIV’s cups are non-padded. I make them from a double layer of exactly the same fabric as the body, giving you an even shade across the whole bodysuit with no different-colour panel showing through your dress.
Unlike moulded or padded cups, which can look noticeably lighter under sheer fabrics, LIV's cups blend seamlessly with the rest of the bodysuit.
If your dress has padding or cups sewn in, I often suggest removing them, as they can add unnatural volume that you won't need with LIV.
How my LIV construction works for you — 03
You get a genuinely open back, right down to below your natural waist, with no bra band across it. That's my patented design: a classic U-shaped scoop that stays supportive and is open, not just styled to look it.
One bride told me her boob tape, inserts and "backless" bras that weren't actually backless could now finally go in the bin.
The high-leg tanga briefs have laser-cut edges to minimise visible panty lines, and a hook-and-eye closure lets you use the bathroom without removing the bodysuit. One customer called that a genuine selling point that simplified her wedding bathroom plan.
Choose LIV if...
Your dress has a deep-V neckline:
LIV sits approximately 6cm/2.5" lower at the front than a standard plunge, alongside KYA.
You want support and cleavage without padding:
LIV's underwired, non-padded cups bring your bust towards the centre and lift it into a natural position, rather than adding volume.
You want your cleavage to look smooth and stay secure without spilling over at the front:
The double-layer cups are cut from the same power mesh as the bodysuit body, with a folded rather than elasticated edge to help avoid a visible ridge or “double boob.” The cups keep your bust lifted, secure and comfortably contained, without cutting into the flesh or spilling over at the front.
Your dress is a mermaid shape and very fitted around your bum:
LIV's high-leg tanga briefs with laser-cut edges help minimise visible panty lines under close-fitting fabrics.
You need bust and tummy support, but your dress is backless and frontless:
The bust support is integrated into my patented backless construction, while the bodysuit provides smooth tummy support—an all-in-one solution without compromising the open back and low front.
You need interchangeable straps:
LIV's straps are interchangeable. You can wear the supplied fabric straps over the shoulders, or change them for my thin spaghetti straps or clear straps. Another option is to purchase longer straps for a cross-over look or a converter strap for a racer-back look to suit your dress.
“We recently had one of our brides attend her wedding dress fitting and she was wearing one of your body suits under our Goldie style. The back was ever so slightly too straight, but it looked amazing! We get asked all the time if there is something we can recommend so I was very excited to see her with your item on, it worked great.”
Consider another style if...
You prefer a full brief rather than a tanga
KYA is the answer here. It uses the same cup and front depth as LIV, but with a full brief vs LIV's tanga. One point to consider if you have a longer torso: “The LIV is a tanga style pants, which offers little bit more flexibility in the length. The KYA full briefs have more fabric around the bottom, which makes the length more restrictive.” If it's too short, this can also create a visible line around your buttock, similar to cheeky briefs. There is a work-around — if you need LIV's length flexibility but would like more buttock coverage, an option is to pair LIV with my INDI shorts worn over or under the bodysuit. You get the length of a tanga bodysuit with the full coverage of briefs. Note that INDI shorts are non-returnable for hygiene reasons, so check that product's current terms before ordering. Speak to me if you are not sure whether you have a longer torso. I will work with you to determine this.
Your dress is halterneck
LIV's straps can be worn over the shoulders, crossed or racer-back, but it does not support a strap that goes around the neck. For a halterneck-specific solution, LEXI is the answer.
You want padded volume
LIV is deliberately non-padded and has no padding pockets, as extra padding is usually not needed or recommended with larger busts. If your dress is plunging and you would like added volume, MAE might be an option — it's cups are more structured and rigid, with a thin foam layer that means padding can be added. I would always suggest first consulting with me to ensure MAE's construction works with your dress style.
Your dress front is only moderately low, or you want more coverage for your bust than the LIV.
I would consider JONI rather than choosing the deepest front by default. LIV is built for the very lowest openings; if the dress gives you more coverage, JONI's higher front will give you more coverage and security, particularly on a fuller bust. As I explained in one consultation: “Customers with a larger bust and a higher V neckline tend to prefer the JONI because it offers extra support.”
Your dress has a deep underarm or side cut-out
Here, I would usually recommend SKYE. LIV's straps attach in a position under the arm that will show if your dress has a deep side opening or low armhole. SKYE is cut lower under the arm — both of its two strap positions sit lower than LIV's. I've explained it to brides this way before: “The LIV will show under your arms, where the SKYE is cut for low underarm cut and the straps can be adjusted to 2 different positions.”
Your dress neckline is standard plunge or round, not an ultra-deep V
MAE might also be the better option here — its cups don't go as low as LIV's but its still a plunge style. The real difference is the shape of the neckline. The MAE creates a round neckline rather than a V-shape. The LIV's V-shape neckline will be visible in a wider open neckline, as it is designed for that specific shape. So, if your dress has a low round neckline or sweetheart neckline, consider MAE.

I designed my bodysuits by neckline style and cup shape. Sometimes an alternate style may suit your dress and shape better than your chosen bodysuit. Here are the closest alternatives to LIV.

Frequently asked questions about LIV

I've tried boob tape and stick-on bras before and none of it worked — how is LIV different?
I designed LIV to provide structured support for your breasts just like a regular underwired bra, but without the need for a bra back band. So the support comes from the construction itself rather than from something unreliable, that you stick on to your skin.
I have a fuller bust — will something this delicate-looking actually support me?
Yes. In my experience, a non-padded bra that's properly fitted and well made is far more supportive and comfortable than people expect — the support comes from the construction. That said, in some instances — depending on your bust size or dress style — I may suggest an alternate style that would be more supportive.
Will the V-separator show under my dress?
I designed the construction of the V-separator to lie flat and stay invisible. So as long as you have the right size and wear your bodysuit correctly, it won't show, unless the neckline of the dress is lower than LIV's. For the best fit, I'd want the underwires sitting directly under your bust, with all your breast tissue scooped forward into the cups. The V-separator should also sit flat and close to your breastbone. This can make a real difference to how smoothly LIV fits underneath a dress.
Will I fall out of the cups at the front?
No, provided the cups and the bodysuit are the correct size. I designed the bra structure to be secure in the outer and inner edge of the cups, so you won't fall out at the front or sides.
I'm trying to lose weight before my wedding/ event— when should I order, and what if my measurements change?
If you're planning to lose weight beforehand, let me know how much you're aiming to lose and I can factor that into your sizing calculation and your event date.
What size should I order if I am not sure of my bra size?
The best way to find your accurate bra size is to get professionally measured in your local lingerie boutique. Make sure the bra you try is an underwired, non-padded style and plunging if possible. Choose styles from brands like Freya, Fantasie, Victoria's Secret, M&S Autograph, Triumph or Calvin Klein as they fit similar to our styles. But avoid sports bras or strapless bras, as they tend to fit differently. Once you know your bra size, the other measurements you'll need are your waist measurement, full hip measurement, and your height. See our size guide for instructions. If you are still unsure, email me to confirm your size and style. I also always follow up on all orders to confirm measurements before I produce it, so keep an eye on your email.
I don't live in the UK and can't try LIV on in person — how does a made-to-order fitting actually work?
Fittings are done virtually. Send me your measurements and pictures of your dress, front and back or a link to the designer's page, and I'll confirm which style and size will work best — no in-person visit needed.
LIV or JONI — what is the difference?
Both use a non-padded, same-fabric cup construction with a tanga brief — the real difference is front depth. LIV is my lowest front, while JONI sits higher at the centre, giving you more margin and a more securing feel, particularly on a fuller or heavier bust. Choose LIV for the very lowest Deep-V necklines. Choose JONI if your dress doesn't need LIV's full depth, or if you'd simply prefer the extra support and centre-front coverage of a higher plunge.
Can I return it if the size or fit isn't right?
Yes. LIV is returnable within 30 days of delivery. If the issue is fit rather than a change of mind, send me your measurements or a fitting photo first — I regularly work through sizing and positioning with customers before deciding whether an exchange, a different style, or a return is the right answer. See the full Returns Policy for the complete terms.
